The current trend around the country is to “Defund the Police”, but we believe that it’s time to “DEFEND the Police”!
Just like with everything, “you get what you pay for”, so defunding the police will only result in less training, less qualified officers, and lower quality candidates. This is a recipe for disaster when you consider all of the different roles that an officer must take on during every single shift that they work. Training is paramount to achieving high quality officers and high quality service, but that won’t be possible without funding.
